On April 25th, 2018, the City of Portland’s Smart City PDX Project Team will hold an Open House and Tech Expo to introduce Portlanders to the Traffic Safety Sensor Initiative, the City’s latest Smart City Initiative. The initiative will pilot the use of safety sensors on 122nd, Hawthorne and Division, three of Portland’s most dangerous streets.
Representatives from the PBOT Project Team will be present to explain the project and answer questions. The Smart City PDX Coordinating team will also be present to answer questions about citywide smart cities and open data efforts. Representatives from Current by GE, ATT, PGE and Intel, the initiative’s private sector partners, will also be at the event with displays of the sensor technology. Please mark your calendars now.
